We’ve left in some glaring inaccuracies which the discerning reader might object to:
- The Shining came out exactly one day after Pacman. A pretty successful week in entertainment.
- While the head developer is a semi-accurate depiction, the rest of the developers should certainly be Japanese nerds, not two rednecks and a 70s cop.
- Instead the developers look like Buckner & Garcia of Pac-Man Fever and the voice of Pacman.
In case, you didn’t think I had already posted enough links, here comes another. Turns out, with a little first-person perspective, the horror can be salvaged.

Wow, spamtastic comment section.
Just a quick note… you did not have to mention that “The Shining” came out a day after Pac-Man, since the book was published before Pac-Man and could still serve as a muse to the story…
I thought I saw a documentary that said the maze was one of the things not in the book. Oh well.
Well, the hedge maze wasn’t there, but the hedge was in the shape of animals, and, depending on your imagination, you can see it as a “maze-like” structure.
LoLed for the day, the meeting probably did go like that to.
With game developers, who knows!?
